Pre-event training instructions
1. Dates and Venue
Pre-event training will be available from 6 to 15 October 2026 at the sea area next to P9 Parking Lot, east of Commercial Street, No. 3 Road, Golden Beach Scenic Area, West Coast New Area, Qingdao.
2. Registration and Access
For safety reasons, only teams registered in advance with the OC will be allowed to access the training area with rowing boats and train on the water.
Training outside the area organised by the OC or outside the scheduled training times will not be permitted.
To register, teams must contact rowingfuture@163.com.
3. Training Sessions And Reservation
At least six 1-hour training sessions will be available each day（Please note that this training schedule is subject to change according to the tide conditions）.
If your team wishes to participate in pre‑event training, please complete the registration via this link in advance and select your preferred training time slot. Each team may book a maximum of one session per day. Should the slots for the desired date be fully occupied, please choose an alternative date.
4. Boats
Teams must arrange and rent boats directly from the boat providers. Their contact details are already available in the event information.
5. Venue Services and Fee
During the scheduled training sessions, the OC will provide:
·Training area on the water;
·Beach and water safety;
·Rescue services;
·Drinking water.
·Rest Tent
The venue fee is EUR 30 per person per day only to athletes.
The account details are available via this link. After completing your registration, please transfer the fees to the designated account according to the number of athletes and the number of training days.
6. Accommodation and Transport
Teams may use the official hotels listed in the World Rowing event information and arrange accommodation and catering according to the information provided by the OC.
An optional daily shuttle between the official hotels and the training venue will be available at a cost of EUR 6 per person per day.
Teams may also arrange their own transportation.
